Apple CEO and technological visionary Steve Jobs died at the age of 56 yesterday. He had a long battle with pancreatic cancer. People all over the internet are mourning his passing (and cracking a few inappropriate jokes). In the former arena, Slate calls Jobs “The Man Who Invented Our World.” When it’s all said and done, the mourning and insensitivity can be expected from cyberspace. What we can’t predict is how his death will impact the future of Apple.
