The New York Times published a fairly scathing review of Guy Fieri’s new restaurant, Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar in Times Square, this week. The review quickly went viral, as the review is pretty much an 800-word series of patronizing questions addressed to the Food Network TV show host himself. Everyone seems to have an opinion on the review — some praising writer Pete Wells for his candor, others calling it a hateful show of superiority and a waste of space in The New York Times Food & Wine section.
What do you think? Do food reviews seriously influence the decisions you make on where to dine out?
