Instagram created a giant problem for itself earlier this week when its millions of users heard it would be claiming the rights to sell photos posted through application. “Wait, so you’re saying photos of my feet could be used to sell nail polish? Snapshots of my kids could sell birth control? And I, as the illustrious photographer, will never see a dime of that mega money? Well, that’s not right,” the Internet was quoted as saying.
Then, Instagram backtracked with a “Just Kidding. We’re not really doing that” apology, and a clarification of its terms but it could be too little too late. Plenty of users are either suspicious or signing out for good. What about you?
